If you look closely at the mythic weapon in infinity’s armory it’s obviously a br and it could be halo 4’s br. I say this because if you look closely you can see a small scope at the top (looks rather boxy like the one in halo 4) and the weapon it self is a light grey color. And what can make this a mythic? The 3 shot br that it was at launch. That’s what I think but I will like to here you’r opinion on it.

I don’t see why the Halo 4 BR would be a mythic. I doesn’t really have any sentimental value with the player base, it wasn’t a super impressively designed gun, I don’t see any reason why 343 would make the Halo 4 BR a mythic of all weapons. I mean we still don’t have a Gravity Hammer.

The halo 5 battle rifle is essentially the Halo 4 battle rifle, except a different scope, paint job, and firing sounds.

In a live stream update that showed us a teaser trailer, a req item, basically a variant of a carbine was used on a Team Arena map, Midship. My assumptions is different req items can be placed on Arena maps now, or on custom games.

Its a loadout weapon. Not only that, the barrel sticks out to the side of the req card.
The halo 4 br is already in the game.

It can’t be the old one because if you look closely the scope is pretty small and the old br has a dark-ish grey color.

If it is the Halo 4 battle rifle, why doesn’t it have different barrel attachments like the Classic Scope BR did

I think its a DMR. Only a DMR is worthy of being a legendary req item. Not only that, the space between the barrel to corner is exact to the dmr loadout. A prime example is the dmr skin the first row, 3rd weapon from the left. But the thing is, is the barrel… The barrel of Halo 2 and 3 BR is split, where this one is whole like the BR we see now.
-edit. They also blurred out the barrel. The shaping however is different from the BR. A comparison to make is from the Cartographer’s gift, the Classic BR scope, the shaping of the image is larger, in the Infinity’s armory its more thinner and longer looking.
I think it will be the BR55 (Halo 2).
The current BR that we use is the BR85N which is very similar to the Halo 4 BR85HB. The BR55 already got an updated model with Halo 2: Anniversary so that’s why I think it’s more likely to be that.

Upon looking at the image and zooming in, I noticed 2 letters on the bottom left corner of the req item. An “H” and an “R” so it could be the Halo 2-3 battle rifle.
