Never seen a bloody, cut, bruised marine in Halo 2 before. Apparently one will appear on the Cairo, but only under certain circumstances. It’s an Easter Egg.

So, its just there, because its there? Or is there another significance to it? E.g. reference to something else, etc etc.

My guess is that he is an un-used asset from the cut E3 demo level. You remember how they planned on showing all those injured marines? Probably no other use for such types of marines so they used it as an easter egg.

I saw that too. It kind of shocked me at first wasn’t expecting anything like that. It did add to the realism though.

Thanks for sharing this. I never noticed this guy before. Interestingly enough I decided to see this easter egg for myself and after he had that dialogue about the Malta he changed voices to Perez.
