Played halo 2 br for over an hour and no luck 
You can only unlock the Ice and Unicorn skins if you play with a 343i member during a community play date.
Yeah it’s definitely hard. I’ve played in nearly every single one and I’ve only matched them once.
Do they use any other emblem besides 343

This time 3 out of 4 had the emblem. I spectated one of their games.

I think that puts you in the same club as most of us. With presumably hundred or thousands of people playing that playlist with the express purpose of getting a chance at the skin. It shouldn’t really be that much of a surprise that most of us aren’t lucky enough to snag it.

Oddly enough I did. How did you guess?
I read a forum post that someone gamed with a 343 member and they had a diff emblem not the traditional 343 one so idk if thats so they can catch players off guard or not when people dashboard to try and match with them
I played for the full hour w/ search preference on expanded and still couldn’t match with them.
Yeah, No skin for me either. Oh well.
They never back out of the game… So they’re constantly searching for games.
I’ve joined a few community playdates, but never have matched with them.
Maybe one day ill run in to one of them. I got the original 343 from the hcs packs a while ago just want to get them all

Yeah your talking about Ghost who runs a skull emblem instead of the 343 one. There’s still 3 343 emblems in the game though so I doubt they are trying to deceive people.
