I’m serious. I love the Halo 4 armor. Simply because I have gotten at least 5 messages from people saying that they like my armor. One person even said that it was -Yoink!-. Seriously?
So far I’ve used Recruit w/Prime Skin, Hazop w/Forest Skin, Fotus Armor (the -Yoink!- one apparently), Mjolnir Mk. VI, and Gungnir w/Pulse Skin and Locus Helmet. I love Halo 4 armor much more than Reach’s. I didn’t think I would but the fact that you get a whole set of a certain group is amazing! Halo: Reach gave you Mjolnir Mk. V helmet and shoulders and a Mk. VI helmet, and that’s it. You actually get a whole suit each time now! It is awesome.

I find the armor and the colors exceedingly bland.
War Master is the best helmet of all time IMO. But I need those KOTH wins and 343i took away the playlist.

More on topic, yes, I don’t like the FOTUS armor at all. It looks rather ridiculous with the giant Unicorn horn
You do realize that the Fotus helmet is actually a Promethean Knight’s helmet but with a visor and a horn added?

Nope, it looks like a friggin Promethean Crawler with a horn sticked on it.
I just don’t like it, not the design itself, but how badly made is the 3D model of it…

I like the new armor as well. Lots of choices. Reach had like 5 colors. I just wish they’d make a hue/saturation thingy so you could completely customize colors.
This armour isn’t particularly varied.
What have you got, exactly? As far as Chestpieces go, you’ve got Venator, Recon, Oceanic, the wack Specialisation pieces and everything else. You might be able to get Orbital in there, maybe not. So many options so easily condensed.
Same with the rest of the options. They’re nice…ish, but overly similar and nothing too special.
The armors are a bit similar sometimes…
I honestly prefer Reach’s armor but that is just me.
I sometimes send people messages that their armor looks cool. Mostly because I’m bored.
I think the armour designs are over the top. Not to say that reach’s armour was incredibly realistic- But it didn’t have any unicorn horns on it either.
Everyone looks the same to me… just a bunch of ducks running left and right. Seriously though, they do look the same.
IMO, all the new armor looks pretty bad. The worst for me, has to be Raider. It looks like a dog with it’s tongue hanging out. Overall, very few of them look like they would have any real utility if you had to wear them. Especially the ones without visors.
Spartan models look like they’re using lower poly-count models, and lower resolution, less detailed texture maps as well. (compared to Reach) It’s disappointing, as I’m pretty sure all the pretty (and distracting) atmospheric effects, god-rays, etc. are why they had to do this.

Agreed to an extent. Reach’s armour was the prettiest I think - nearly all of it looked great, whereas Halo 4’s in my view just looks ok for the most part, and for the rest downright nasty.
I like the new armors and the variety. I don’t like the colors. Something about them that seems… Off…

Agreed to an extent with this too. Personally I think it’s the undersuit rather than the armour itself, because the original black undersuit of the SIIs and SIIIs from 1,2,3 and Reach has been swapped for the (partially) coloured undersuit of the SIVs, which just looks wrong in my view. If it were all black like it used to be (or even a light grey) with coloured armour pieces like before, I think it’d look better…
