so this is something 343 recently introduced to reach and it is awful. neutral spawns were put into all the new anniversary maps and the new btb heavy maps this caused problems because i play with a team and as we got map control and pushed up to the opposite base all of a sudden the enemy would be spawning in our base behind. is it just me or is this just making the game noob friendly and casual. now before you say go tell the matchmaking forum i am worried the maps will be like this in halo 4 and i would not be happy if they had neutral spawns as well.
so what about you guys neutral spawns yes or no

The team that got trapped will be un trapped and it will be less frustrating for them, and an actual good team will be able to manage BOTH sides of the map. Including it’s vehicles and weapons. If they can’t then they actually aren’t that good.
Sure, it is a get out of jail card, but a bad player will keep on dying regardless of where they are at.

Also, if they dont wanna be spawnkilled, either do better or have 343 make a decent mm system.

Being punished for being good is NOT good for gameplay.
I’m sure you would love spawning behind the superior team but I hate the lesser team getting BS spawns that shouldn’t exist purely because they are bad.
The spawning in Halo Reach is horrible. Especially on Beaver Creek in the Anniversary playlist, simply horrible.

i don’t think they should be given the get out of jail card they should be able to push the enemy back if not well that’s unfortunate for them.
Yeah, with this system you do have to take a little bit from one side to generally do good for both sides.
Is it tedious to have to manage both sides? Yeah, but like I said, if your team is good, you can manage both sides fine and win the game.
Edit: Another reason this is good. I’m sure you BTB players come across a team of randoms. People go in alone, and they get matched against you. This isn’t their fault, it is MM’s fault for the bad pairing. You have no idea how frustrating it is for an alone person being spawn killed when their team drops out.
well they could have fixed the matching system instead of breaking the maps.
I think that if they found it to be a use of their time, or even possible, 343i would have done it by now.
Or maybe not, considering their stunt with Squad Slayer…
But hey, at least they did one of two things to help out people who aren’t in full teams. What they did wasn’t the best option, but it was better than doing nothing.
I think there should be regular spawns but there should be a 5 second spawn shield and once you attack it should disappear.
it would be nice if they fixed the match-finding system but if there’s neutral spawn il be torked
