Net code has been an issue whithin infinite for a while now. Only now am I starting to get a little tired of it, having BR duels then dipping behind cover or running round a corner only to be shot out of line of sight.
My ping has absolutely sky-rocketed since S1, mostly in competitive play. This playlist for me is just not worth the time it takes to first actually find a game and then secondly the massive ping spikes making it completely unplayable. Bit of a kick in the teeth considering losing a game based on poor connection still effects your rank.
Overall, wait times for playlists are increasing and its sad to see. Net code still an issue and the increased ping due to having to search far and wide for games making it not worth playing certain playlists. Makes me sad really. I love halo, love the game and look forward to its updates. But as of now, comp is out of the question for me, BTB is fun and all but I miss being able to just go onto any playlist and have a blast.

Personal problems require personal solutions. So, time to see why you are having these issues since not everyone has these issues and they don’t tend to relay to it being the games fault.
Most people I know are having these problems, and exclusively with this game. Its definitely beyond personal and has been acknowledged by the devs more than once.
@eLiiTe_x_BreTTi don’t let people gaslight you into thinking this game works flawlessly, it definitely does not.

I have 100 Mpbs and I still desync every other match or have weird moments where the game cant catch up to how fast im traveling and a lot of my hits don’t register.
There are tons and tons of clips online from even big streamers, and people who stopped playing because of this games terrible connection would not be moving on to OTHER MULTIPLAYER GAMES if they had internet that could not handle it.
We can boot up just about every other game on the market and not have these issues, it is a Halo Infinite problem

ive said this before, i have absolutely ZERO desync, i had it once. i uninstalled Halo completely, hard reset my router and xbox one series x, reinstalled Halo infinite and have never ever had desync again within hundreds of games.
I also play on PC, did the same for it. no desync
Ive done all of this and more and its never fixed it for me
Ive uninstalled and reinstalled this game 7 times already

im not saying it doesnt exist, just saying what helped me. i dont understand it. because i did have the problem for maybe 2 matches. and poof, no more desync.
Not being able to server select and getting thrown into 200 ping matches will forever be the game’s fault.

This is what happens when you have contractors working at 343i only to be switched out every 18 months for new contractors start up. Someone messed up something that is not able to be found. Or this game is still in Beta Stage.
