Nervous about COD similarities?

I was just wondering if anyone else was a lil worried about certain similarities like the load outs and ordinance drops.

I’ve always been a fan of the classic everyone starts with the same guns/option like in
halo 3 and Reach so ud have to learn the map and control it for weapons

New Loadouts and Ordinance drops kind of changes that.

It’s not to say that it cant work, im still very excited to see and im not that worried but i just wanted to know what others thought.

I just want to see how they work, by the looks of it from the videos and whatnot they look like they work fine.

I won’t give this game my full support until I’ve played it. I’m sure it will be awesome, but it just seems like they have added way too much unnecessary BS. We will find out in 3 months.

Not at all.

But then again, I’m one of those wierd people that liked Reach and AAs

Really?

We’re few and far between, but we are out there

And is it normal that I read “High five” in Borat’s voice?

What CoD similarities?

lol probably not

I’ll admit that the changes aren’t exactly exciting, but I think that at the very worst they’ll take some getting used to. The hardcore competitive multiplayer types might have their issues with them, but I think the average Halo player, even the ones who have been around since CE won’t find them that bad.

And if it makes you feel any more at ease, most of the people who tried the demos say that it “feels like Halo”, which I would take as a good sign.

read op post…

No.
If they “copied”, than they took the best things out of CoD and implemented them in Halo while living the bad things out.
Oh and Ordinance Drops are not a CoD copy, at all.

I don’t even know why, I saw that movie once and didn’t really enjoy it all that much

Meh, whatever, normality’s overrated anyway.

I still fail to see the similarity between Halo 4 and CoD.

Then you’re living in denial.

> Oh and Ordinance Drops are not a CoD copy, at all.

The idea probably came from a game like CoD but it’s nothing like CoD’s. For one, you HAVE to kill players in CoD to earn them whilst all your medals in Halo 4 go towards it. Secondly, correct me if I’m wrong but PO will only be in the Infinity gametypes. And thirdly, in CoD you get things like airstrikes and mini-nukes whilst in Halo you can only get weapons and a power-up.

Or-get this- I’ve actually taken the time to learn about them in detail and found out that they are nothing like CoD.

I know, radical right? But it’s all true.

You’re not being honest then.

No one said “Copied” so don’t post like someone did

Ordinace drops are very similar to when u get a certain amount of kills in cod then u get “ordinace” to drop on the map.

How is that not similar at all?
