The spartan charge is used so much in this game because it’s so overpowered. Why does it have so much range? Why can someone spartan charge then body shot them to instantly kill them? Why does it have a huge knockback effect that prevents the receiver from fighting back, or can be used by teammates to knock you off ledges? Ahd why does it take so little time to recover for the user, and why does it not have a cool down time? To fix this without removing the ability, the damage, knockback, and range must be decreased, it should make the user immobile for a short time after use to make it a risk to charge, and there needs to be a cooldown time for the ability.
there is a delay after the user engages SC. it is very noticeable when they miss you, and the delay does not change whether its a hit or a miss.
the cooldown is however long it takes the user to recover, try and sprint again then continue sprint
the knockback is fine really, if you practice and time it right you can get a melee in there to knock their shields out as well, kinda like in a sword duel.
I am ok with Spartan charge so far. I have learned to strafe left or right with thrusters to avoid it then destroy them with ar or melee.
