nope
If weapons on map are weaker than your starting weapons there is no reason to ever pick them up. How many times did you pick up the plasma rifle in 1/2/3/reach/4? probably never because it was borderline useless.
The thing overheats if you barely hold the trigger. It’s balanced as is.
The storm rifle is nerfed u just need to fire it in bursts to get its full potential

Leave my stormrifle alone, its beautiful, balanced, and hard for most to learn. Halo5 needs absolutely no nerfs anywhere. Games dont need nerfs. Learn and adapt.

and why is everyone saying it is hard to learn?! because it overheats once in a while?!
Must be new i guess… You have yet to learn how good that is in CQC. Shields down, melee and easy kill
While you’re at it, nerf the Br, it’s used too much. Oh and don’t forget about DMR that thing has too much range.
really dont find the problem with the gun… have used it and gotten up against it… still not faced a “pro” that makes it a OVERPOWERING weapon… AR and som moves, and you take the person out… only if you get suprised and run stupidly in to a room without thinking… THEN i could see the problem…
The sandbox updates aren’t coming out until next month. They wouldn’t release a massive change to the build in the middle of the pro series. It would make the entire championship a toss up.

Oh, and yes, the Storm Rifle definetly needs a nerf, it is by far the best CQC Weapon in the game, even better than the SMG, a Weapon designed for CQC.
It’s a weapon that you pick up on the map that is a slight improvement (Opinion) over the starting assault rifle.

Its in no way a slight upgrade, its a direct upgrade in everyway. i drop my AR like hot -Yoink- for the Storm Rifle and I drop the Magnum for literally any other Precision weapon.
I can’t even remember the last time I saw someone using a storm rifle. Is that a popular choice?
Pick it up yourself…
Just don’t see the point in crying nerf for map weapons… If they’re so bloody effective then take the hint and grab it before they do.
