I don’t know what game you’ve been playing, but there is no weapon called the BOLTPISTOL in Halo 4. Please post this on the forum for the game you mean, 343 can’t help with the balancing issues for other games which aren’t Halo 4.

What would be the point of using it then? The plasma pistol has similar charge time and vastly superior range.

boltshot boltpistol, same thing diffrent name ,its a pistol right? well as i said, if you know what i mean why make it such a big deal and keep bothering about the headline and not care how OP it is compared to Magnum/plasma pistol

It’s definitely not OP compared to the Plasma Pistol…
The Magnum does less damage but has better range. The Boltshot actually has less range than any of the shotguns, too bad I don’t remember where to find the test proving it.
I like it, keep it. Improve your game.
