NERF THE AIM ASSIST PLEASE

343 please lower the aim assist or take it off completely. Halo doesn’t need aim assist. Keep it like halo 3 where you needed skill to pull of a no scope. Coming from someone that currently has all the REQ cards its honestly unfair for other players. Linda’s sniper (Nornfang) should not need aim assist Its already a one shot kill. Not to mention the other Legendary or Ultra rare weapons (Krith’s left hand, Dying star, Selene’s lance, Whispered truth, The answer, Etc… ) that would be fine without aim assist. At least give us a slayer pro game type without aim assist. Aim assist + Pro players = Unbalance. Please 343 Nerf or take it off it would make halo 5 a way better game. PS… why do vehicles need aim assist WHY!?

Every game had aim assist man any time the reticle lit up red in any game your getting AA…this game as a pretty low aim assist stat especially compared to Halo 4…I think what your looking for is the sometimes over the top bullet magnetism. Basically if your within a certain range even if aim assist isnt active your bullets sort of curve towards your opponent. The sniper headshot Magnetism is pretty intense in this game so is the BR at least in my opinion.

You’re coming off as a little bias when saying Halo 3 had low aim assist because it had a great deal of it. H3 offered tons of assistance to newer players in that regard. And, nobody wants a console game or Halo to have no aim assist, and it definitely needs it. My only complaint would be that the headshot box is little low; it needs to be 50% of the reticule on the head or above it for a headshot. As it stands it counts headshots when you have the top portion of your reticule on the headshot making it look like a chestshot (this is the same deal with the Sniper). Another issue is that the bullet magnetism is the same unscoped than it is scoped, which means it looks like your reticule is higher above your target than it looks when you are unscoped.

Bullet mag is what youre complaining about. The aim assist is at its lowest in quite some time.

aim assist is next to non-existent in H5, I think you mean bullet magnetism.

It’s very acceptable, because it allows long ranged combat to be possible as well as balances out hit detection due to lag. I couldn’t imagine Halo:CE if the M6D didn’t have the amount of bullet magnetism that it did, with its large reticule. Maybe just make it based on reticule size then so it’s consistent; if any portion of the reticule is on the target then bullet magnetism is activated. That’s the simple way of thinking about it.

the aim assist and magnetism benefits both noobs and pros and everyone in between so it is still a level playing ground

trust me, with lowered aim assist the skill gap would be too great and no one would want to play because it would be dominated by the top 200 people in each playlist and 800 players keeping a game going doesnt bode well for a franchise

No nerfs no buffs to anything. It is the same for all players therefore nobody is at an advantage or disadvantage.

Aim assist is needed in shooters bruh, try playing campaign with that particular skull that removes aim assist completely (MCC) and then come talk.

I have never once, not once had this happen to me.

The bullet magnetism for the sniper does need to be toned down a bit.

Thank you that’s the term I meant Its just frustrating. It seems like they tuned that to the next level compared to the other halos.

Alright guys I’m sorry I meant the " bullet magnetism" that really needs to be nerfed like bad.
