Nerf SIDEKICK, range and magazine size

Nerf the damage & range.

Buff it’s handling, bloom, and target acquisition.

It shouldn’t be a viable primary weapon from half way across the map…

It should be used to clean up kills or when your out of ammo.

Not something to ditch your primary for that competes with almost anything.

I rarely run into that in ranked play. Majority of people avoid grabbing it from what i see.

Nah, it’s fine just as is.

Commando and Battle Rifle easily beat it at range.

It’s very annoying when someone can actually use it.

That’s usually the case with every weapon though?

I’m starting to pick it up in ranked because it does a great deal of damage in a close distance. Pairing with the battle rifle, it’s a great combo to deal damage and not have to reload over and over again.

The commando and battle rifle are a great combo and I enjoy treating the commando more so like a burst weapon to ensure accuracy and damage.

Same here actually, exactly what i do; when my BR clip is almost out and in a gunfight , a quick switch to it has extended my life a couple times.

Then get better, learn to play the game better instead of trying to ruin it for everyone else with unnecessary nerfs that would only exist because you can’t counter someone with a bloody magnum. You didn’t see people demanding nerfs for the CE pistol or Whispered Truth in Halo 5.

Are you really using the sidekick in long range? Cause it really sucks (as its supposed to) from there.

It can be really strong in ranked, but only in the right situation. Range is ok, but tough to control at much of a distance so it basically operates how OP wants it to when BR starts is the game.

I dunno, they already nerfed a weapon because people let a person holding a bright stick run to them from 50 miles away and oneshot them with a melee lol. It’s difficult to say what it takes for them to nerf something or not lol.

I don’t think the sidekick is OP.

However it is very good for a starting weapon and if they wanted to make it more of a ‘backup’ weapon without nerfing it for that use, the should just slow down the very quick reload.

Then it’s still just as powerful in most uses but a little harder to take on multiple people as a primary weapon.

why use a hard to aim sidekick when you have a br that almost auto aims.

It only needs a ROF cap. The rest is fine

Honestly with all due respect, get better.

Please provide a video where its cap that it has, has been breached. I need evidence.

Rather, just nerf sidekick rate of fire. It should have the ability to still take on at least 2 enemies. Otherwise its just a precision assault rifle. Its the same that happened back in the Halo 5 beta.

That way, it beating a Commando/BR/DMR will be about skill in likely dodging instead of how fast you pull the shots off.

Or just learn how to adapt & learn instead of calling for nerfs because “Person knows how to use it therefore broken”.

I can agree with buffing it’s aim acquisition and bloom alongside a rof nerf. Not because it’s op or anything but because it’s just unfun to fight and use.

It usually turns into a spam fest. Because its rate of fire and bloom going out so quickly it rarely ends up as a skilled fight. It’ll just aim for you while pushing out 7 billion bullets per second.

Not to mention I way prefer an actual magnum, something that requires skill, over a cod weapon.

Sidekick is fine and balanced the way it is now. It requires more skill to use than the br and the ar. If any gun needs a merf it def is the assault rifle. It is way too consistent for how easy it is to use. Also the damage after the shields break is almost instant kill which leaves you wondering why would i use a precision weapon and go for the head whwn i can just spray the ar
