While the SPNKR and Needler toys are not explicitly stated to be related to Infinite, the Assault Rifle toy is themed off of the AR featured in Halo Infinite, and is designated as the MA40 blaster. Interestingly, this report says that purchases will include a code for an in-game weapon skin. This info is coming from Nerf and not 343 so take it with a grain of salt, but it looks like we have a name for the AR seen in the trailer, and we may see weapon skins return as customization options for Infinite. These toys are slated for an Oct 1 release, so they should be out in time to pick some up so you can have Nerf wars while waiting in line for your copy of Infinite.
Excellent find! Thanks for sharing.
I think it’s interesting how hard MS/343i have leaned into licensing with companies like Mattel and now Hasbro (Nerf) as well. I hope that they extend some of this licensing to companies more oriented to the more mature collector market as well (A new batch of Gentle Giant mini busts for Infinite? Another forum user suggested some time ago that Halo Hot Toys by Sideshow could be really awesome, too, and I am in full agreement with that sentiment).
I’ll probably pick up one of the Nerf AR’s at least; I, for one, really dig the Reach AR throwback elements that seem to be evident in the design. Not quite as classic and iconic as the H3 or CE AR’s, but I always liked the more mechanical look of Reach’s AR as well. I do think the scaling on these Nerf models looks a little ridiculous, but they do get the point across. And I agree that some Nerf wars in line for Infinite sounds like a blast!

The used to do this with McFarlane Toys. But McFarlane lost the figure license to Mattel. Though no official statement was given as to why, it’s probably that adult collectibles are nowhere near as financially viable as toys geared to play, like Mattel figures and Nerf guns. Adult collectibles will probably always be a niche market.
Interesting that they went with an ar like the reach one but upgraded

The AR in the Discover Hope trailer looked reminiscent of the Reach model, so this isn’t surprising.
Looks like Nerf is living up to their high standards. These toys are going to be flawless and a joy to play with based on Nerf’s past products and if they look as good in real life as they do in those photos.
Definitely going to get the collection of these. I have the Carbine nerf gun.
I didn’t really care for Boom Co, but since I collect Transformers and I own a few Nerf guns, I have faith in Hasbro to do this franchise RIGHT.
Except for the SPINK. They should have made that the Magnum.
Was I reading that right where two of the models have only two darts? Seems like they want it to be not fun to play with. They definitely need a magnum. It would be great to have the loadout so you could set up a nerf 3 gun competition halo style without having to reload so often.

True good point reach ar is a good design so I’m down with it
The news has been backed by 343 and the needler and the pistol SPNKR are said to be related to game. They just seem scale downed models
Interesting ideas but I’d still like 343 to make the main guns without the skins look really real and the guns need to sound real then that should be ok.
