What happend with the nerf to the Halo 5 magnum?, i remember 343 said they will nerf it next to the campion finals
What makes you think the magnum needs a nerf? I personally think it needs a buff.
If anything, the H5 Magnum needs more of a buff than a nerf.
Having watched Aozolai’s video for a Magnum nerf, I’d say the Magnum needs to be toned down in terms of damage outside of its effective range. Having perfect accuracy enough for a 5-shot kill from 500 metres in-game is ridiculous.
Yeah about that. Unfortunately 343 decided to cancel those plans due to resource limitations and the fact that they need people working on halo 6. It’s in one of their blog updates somewhere…So I guess we’re stuck with an OP pistol and a worthless BR.

While I agree that a 500 meter perfect kill is ridiculous, its important to note that his demonstration was from a non moving target. In real game play is simply impossible. The changes made to the BR clearly states that magnum is better than the BR. I would say buff the BR and problem solved.
