You can’t ask for a nerf without giving some sort of explanation-with proof- as to why something is “OP” and “needs” a nerf.

When you give feedback, especially with a sensitive game like this (changes in RTS make a big difference) you need to make sure it is explained, to ensure the developers get a clear message when tweaking such things.

I was unaware the covenant was in the game.

More details are needed in your post. You should be content to know that the glassing beam is getting nerfed against buildings (I would ask doe a tiny nerf against units as well and leave the speed the way it is).

A nerf? Guessing you are talking on the glassing beam. The glassing beam will be nerfed here eventually, likely with the next update. The others such as Arbiter’s plasma bolts however do not require such a thing. As the others have said would recommend giving more details on why you feel this way if you are including all forms of orbital plasma strikes/beams.

Funny enough, the devs were well aware before this post. They’re currently working on fixing that.

I’m sure you’re aware that a Glassing Beam T1 and strip a base of 3 pads and a level 3 can strip an entire base and get it to less then half. UNSC doesn’t need nerfed on that, Banished does because UNSC has no powers that strip bases instantly like Glassing does.

Well 343 has already planned on nerfing the glassing beam to a more proper level.

I’m sure it was an accident and is simply a result of the all-round buff added when implementing the decreasing radial damage. Beam damage at the center was changed to 125%. Beam vs building should return to 100% perhaps. If they end up adding a nerf for beam vs units, I would prefer 125% to 112% (I would enjoy the beam having a little punch still).

The Beam kills entire army’s in the campaign due to its quick reload speed and high damage but the multiplayer it aint too bad.

Inferno doesn’t strip bases.
I literally had a entire discussion with Postums and Metaloid about Inferno stripping bases and they both said it doesn’t.
Even if it did EVERY LEADER can counter it with a simple heal and Fortifcations.

It doesn’t strip a base, you need at least your leader to back it up with flamewall or the hog drop, but in a back and forth game i would say you don’t have time to get fortifications that early on as your more focussed on unit upgrades. UNSC can’t stop a leader running up to your base and using inferno and then flame wall to strip your entire base.

You then have to either keep nightengales on defense or waste a LP on a heal which i’d rather spend on something like Cutters ultimate drop not a heal.

The base damage could do with toning down a little bit and yeah the glassing beam on your 3rd point is just dumb to strip 3 pads.

If you spammed your Leader Powers on the base one Restoration counters it entirely, espically since it’s cheaper and recharges faster.
It’s a waste to use it on a base when it can wipe armies well.

Once your base is stripped your eco’s shot, at this point they haven’t lost a single unit so if you lose the next engagement then you’ve already lost. Would you like me to inferno your base and see how well you cope? it’s less than 20% all your pads are 1 shot.

It’s cheap to have any leader power strip your base. And your base can’t move, units can.

Im not buying this when one of the best players proved me wrong earlier and aswell as a Developer did
Fortications I is cheap, only 300P and a Heal is just gonna stop the damage.
Also ~20% means around 20% when you instantly though I meant at 20lol

I believe you are talking about the glassing beam. If that is the case, we are currently working on a fix for it and will get it out ASAP. Hang in there! It is coming Soon.
