the nemesis support upgrade needs a buff. it is so useless. the kill cam gives me more information that the support upgrade. it needs to last at least until that person dies.
maybe if people knew where camo snipers where camo sniping from it would be a good counter to that. less people would complain about it.
i hardly have time to rotate my vision to where the nemesis is pointing. is it so useless and had so much potential.
Doesn’t it last for 10 seconds after respawn? Or is it shorter than that?
I guess it’s more useful on smaller maps too.

So essentially, you want a buffed up version of Modern Warfare 3’s “Revenge” deathstreak, that requires you only to die once and will put a waypoint over the enemies head.
I mean, at least I had to die 5 times to get that streak in MW3, but you gotta imagine what that would do to gameplay. Everyone would start using that because it would tell them exactly where the enemy player that killed them was. Combine that with jetpack or Promie vision and the enemy who killed you has no hope of retaliation.
You can see them, but they can’t see you and you have all the advantages.
How is that remotely fair? I don’t deny the thing is underpowered, but at the same time this would make it overpowered, and vastly so.

Nemesis as is, is a bit underpowered. To improve it to this end would make it immensely overpowered especially in Team Regicide games, as it would allow you to know where 2 opposing players are at all times. A full team using Nemesis would be able to track the entire enemy team.
In order to buff Nemesis and keep it balanced it should be buffed such that it reveals the players position for the shortest of 2 options: A)10 seconds or B)until the player dies. Any longer than this would provide an unfair advantage and be yet another crutch for noobs, instead of something designed to counter balance a specific ability.
i will admit i didnt think this out completely. maybe until they die is too long. but maybe it isn’t. to put on nemesis, you not only have to have that loadout on when you die, but you need it on when you respawn. that takes away from two times you could have a more useful support package and puts you at a disadvantage.
it needs a buff though. no one denies that. maybe a time limit. maybe only need it on a loadout once either before or after death. but that would need to be one or the other. not both. to stay consistent.
Maybe the marker could blink every five seconds, kinda’ like CoD UAV/Spy Plane.
And the marker would only last until the person being tracked, died.
How 'bout that?
I think that’s decently balanced.
It would only completely blow your position if you stayed in the same area for too long.
So it could be used as an anti-camper tool.

completely amazing. this is the best thing that could happen to halo 4. please pass this word along in all the forum topics it could possibly appy to. this guy’s idea is amazing.
i have never played COD so i am unfamiliar with the reference. but i completely understand the explaination.
I don’t particulary like perks overall, and even less those that require you to die in order for them to take effect.
I would rather have it work in a different way, but still have the same purpose, there are some options I thought off.
1: Instead of you dying and getting your killer revealed to you. When an ally within a certain radius of you is killed, his/her killer is revealed with a waypoint for a short time.
2: Enemies shooting at you get a waypoint over themselves for a short time.
3: Enemies you shoot and hit get a waypoint over themselves for a short time.
For the current Nemesis perk though:
1: Increasing the time for the waypoint slightly
2: Have the waypoint on the enemy untill he/she dies, however, only show the waypoint when he/she is within the perk user’s radar range, and once you deal damage to the enemy or get a red reticule over him/her, the waypoint is deactivated. The waypoint would also be deactivated if the user manage to damage or get a red reticule on the target enemy before getting inside radar range.

That would be horrible, no offense. Dying from someone shouldn’t give you their permanent location until they die.
No matter what they do to it it is going to be pointless. Good players always know where the person who last killed them is and don’t need a little gadget to tell them.

If the player is camping then why do you need a perk to tell you where he is? He’s camping…
