I think they should introduce a Needler LMG.
It would either
A: Jam-up if something happens
Or
B: It over-heats.
The results would be:
It explodes.
What do you people think about that?

More like an SMG really.
The Plasma Repeater is pry the closest thing to a light machine gun the Covenant have possessed in prior games.
Its a good concept but I think it would be slightly cheese if you ask me BUT the idea of a decent powerful LMG type gun wold be a good and well needed boost for the automatic weapons which do a disgusting lack of damage.
Definitively a great idea, but it would be too similar to the needler. Although, a gun that explodes if overheated does sound awesome!

Do Needlers even heat up the projectile when firing? I never thought heat would be an issue when firing one for an extended period of time.
Also, would it be based upon the Needler or Needle Rifle rounds? Since light machine guns fire rifle cartridges.
