I’ve noticed that the needler seems very odd in the second flight. It definitely sounds a bit better than it did originally, not nearly as bassy, but it still doesn’t have that crystalline sound that it always did. The supercombine explosion has the same problem: it just looks like a pink flash, with no crystal shards shooting out or the sharp, shattering sound that we all know and love. It also seems to require several more needles for the supercombine explosion to actually happen. We’ll have to see how well that works before judging it, but it doesn’t feel very consistent, which is an issue.
It feels like a needler to me, but it doesn’t sound like one one bit. Can’t even hear the explosion hardly and it sounds like a laser gun thingy.
Yeah, it’s really missing the crystalline explosion with a kill instead of that popping noise
The Needler is one of the most evolved weapons in the entire franchise.
This one is one of the better ones from a performance standpoint. It’s an effective and reliable close-ranged killer for the lazy man that doesn’t feel like putting in the effort of a Sidekick.
Visually its stunning.
The sound is weird but I didn’t find it noticeably bad. Not like the Warthog’s driving sounds.
