Why not ghosts with alternative weapons?
Plasma caster ghost.
(Overheats but…)
Shoots 2x single airburst caster rounds, that have a mild seeking effect.
…and can charge shots.

In halo ce there was a fuel rod ghost.
Hidden in code , found by curious pc version players.
Slow rate of fire.

Needle ghost.
Long seeking distance.
But needs to reload, after a 2.3x kill burst.
(Enough to kill 2 & 1/3 people before needing to reload)
Ghost with thick armor and increased basic movement speed. (Boost is same)

Just imagine it having needles sticking up thru the hood!
And having a pink underglow.
And making a slightly more warble noise than typical ghosts.

I didnt remember the shield ghost but that could work.

Maybe a little different on clipsize.
Or its rate of fire could balance it.
