Negatives/Needed Changes
The colors are extremely over-saturated. The desire to make everything look ‘super futuristic’ diminishes the entire experience. Characters are barely visible in certain regions of the maps due to high contrasts of dark and insanely bright areas. Frequently, the blue team cannot be seen unless they shoot at your first.
Unable to leave matchmaking. This one is quite obvious. You are probably well aware of it; however, due to the the Master Chief Collection still not working, I’ll assume this one will stay with the game forever.
Not fond of the ground pound, nor the shoulder charge. The shoulder charge has a huge hit-box, making ‘ninjaing’ someone nearly impossible now.
The grenades feel overpowered. Perhaps lower the radius a smidge and/or make spartans only spawn with one.
I am also just not fond of the look of the game in general. The game is remarkably cartoony in a negative way. Look at previous halos, Halo 3 was cartoony but the maps were not, which allowed spartans to be easily visible. I’m sure fanboys with rally to its defense on these points, but I think they all are much needed. Due to the MCC failing, you have lost nearly all credibility with your community. I advise you to consider these changes.
I do not understand why you insist on putting recoil/flinching in these games. It was terrible in Halo 4, andit is terrible in this game. Especially to have it occur when you aren’t scoped…
incredibly frustrated to be unable to sprint when out of ‘energy.’ It is also silly to be unable to recharge your shield when sprinting or dashing. Why punishing someone like that?
Autoaim with snipers. I have seen and have been given many free headshot no scopes. It should not autolock on their head.
-****over-saturated colors
-poor matchmaking
-shoulder charge hit box
-**grenade radius/or switch to only 1 grenade
-***recoil/flinching. why?
-inability to sprint when out of 'energy’
-no shield recharge when sprinting
-sniper auto aim
Positives
The game handles fairly well. It is a nice change of pace from previous games.
Overall, I think this game has potential, but if the changes aren’t made, I do not expect to purchase it. I have been consistently disappointed with your products. Each time they are close to being good, but the lack of common sense and follow-up changes makes them stale. The fact that the MCC still doesn’t work properly only confirms my doubts about your company.
