I played at launch for less than 3 months… and haven’t been on for like 4 years so I’m a noob and im on a brand new account but I just need a couple of Questions
answered!

  1. is all Armor/emblems still obtainable? such as Spartan Locke’s armor, Reach armor etc/ I keep reading you can earn very rare armor through gold req packs
    even most pre order bonuses.
  2. any idea how many points it is right now for a Ranked slayer champion or swat? I just got to Onyx 1506
  3. how long until the new ranked season?
  4. whats the best way to get xp in general?

  1. Most of it is. The Achilles armor has a special unlock requirement; complete all Spartan Company commendations.

  2. Probably the next IRL season (Spring 2020)

  3. On the weekends, it’s Mythic Warzone Firefight.

Best way to get xp is to play Infection, Firefight, or the warzone double xp playlist each weekend.

  1. Most armor is. The only unobtainable one is Challenger.

  2. Despite what Withyn3302 says, Mythic’s not ideal. You’ll lose most of your games unless you’re in a party since way, waaay too many low-level Spartans with small REQ collections tend to flock to that playlist and naturally lack both the coordination required to progress as well as the weapons/vehicles to be useful in any meaningful way. So you’ll see a lot of people charging at Knights with an assault rifle and meleeing them only to die instantly. You can get more done in half the time if you just go for Heroic Firefight instead.

With that being said, the featured playlists are usually a good bet, though you’ll have a very rough time in Turbo and Assault when they’re up if you’re only just returning to the game.

As BmooDyyy pointed out, there’s also Infection if that’s your cup of tea, or Super Fiesta Party. I personally despise Infection so I go for the Fiesta stuff or Firefight.

Lastly, if you’re okay with spending a little money on it, the Warzone and Arena Legendary EXP Packs are still hidden away in the Microsoft Store.
Sadly you just missed the time in which they were available in-game for 20k RP.

a lot of emblems are unobtainable (like all the arena season, lootcrate, etc), helmets I think Olive and Timmy now are unobtainable but Im not sure

Even if you lose in Mythic Warzone Firefight you will still earn more XP per minute than by winning in Heroic Warzone Firefight.
