Need some help please.

Hey, thanks for looking in on my topic based on the title, any help would greatly be appreciated.

I played halo 3 in the past, I have recon and completed 77/79 achievements. I have put my halo 3 disk in to play some big team social. It says I don’t have the map packs. Now, in the past I had every halo 3 map, Including those I received with ODST. I have in the last year updated to a better console and used the transfer cable. If I go to my download history the map packs are not not there.

so any help as to how I can get these map packs again short of re purchasing them would be a great help.

thank you for any constructive responses.

Try to put in the halo 3 disc that came with odst for some of the maps, but if you bought some of the other map packs, thats probably either your internet bugging out or Microsoft messing around.

Edit: I didnt see the bottom part. If you upgraded to a new console, make sure you use your hard drive (that thing that pops out of the side of the xbox) from your old console. The maps are most likely stored in that memory.

Did you also do a licence transfer? Only transferring the content from 1 drive to another is not enough, you also have to transfer the content licence from one console to another. It has to be done on the Xbox website but I’m not sure on the exact location on the site. Try Googling xbox licence transfer. Hope this helped in any way.

If you have ODST, you could just use the ODST Mythic disk. Not sure how to download them to your HDD, sorry.
