Need some answers please help

Ok so recently I have been banned from matchmaking for 10 minutes, from what I know its only possible to get banned from quitting games.

So even after my 10 minute ban every time I get on Halo Reach a message pops up saying:

! INFORMATION
You have left too many games recently. If you leave anymore, you wont be able to re-enter matching right away.

Now i completely understand and respect this system but it doesn’t make sense due to the fact that I never even left any games in the first place. I will admit i was booted a couple times due to accidental kills but we all know how jacked up this system is.

So does being booted count as leaving cause if so i think that should be fixed. If someone can just gimmie an explanation it would be greatly appreciated.

Next question while all of the above was happening one of my friends had also gotten booted but less times then me.
He didn’t get banned from matchmaking but did get credit banned.

What would cause him to get credit banned if nothing was done wrong, we don’t mod or hack or anything like that we play the game how it should be and earn credits like everyone else. So what would cause this?

Yes getting betrayal booted does count as a quit.
You can get credit banned if you don’t get any kills in a few matches the game thinks you are afkin

Being booted most certainly does count as leaving a game. You will be banned for being booted too many times and put on probation for a few days and get the warning during that time.

I don’t know why you get credit banned but I’d assume he was AFK’ing for a few games or something like that?
