You only need one for warm up games or just for fun, just a clone of team arena so you get a little of everything. Warzone does not count to me as a warm up game, they take too long and play totally different from a arena game.
Agreed. Plus it would give you a place to play with friends who are ranked differently from you.

I would love to just play arena without caring about my KD or anything.

That’s what i was thinking, we have always had at least one unranked playlist in every halo game (from what i remember and i started online at 3).
I’d vote for that, but I think it’s unlikely to happen

No; go warm up solo in FFA or just venture into Warzone Assault (for the warm up). A so-called “unranked” playlist wouldn’t even exist and isn’t necessary. It wouldn’t exist because Microsoft’s TrueSkill system is incorporated throughout all of Xbox Live’s online matchmaking (including Halo 5: Guardians) so you’re getting skill-based matchmaking no matter what and as far as the playlist ranks within Arena are concerned well they just present further refinement to the search process and should be ignored by those who don’t care about them.
Hopefully BTB will not be ranked.

If you have enough friends to do that that’s great, but i don’t and don’t really like to just add/invite random ppl just to warm up or play just for fun.

Warzone Assault still plays differently from arena with the REQ’S and stuff (I also really don’t enjoy it).
As for warming up and just for fun play in FFA, i guess that is a option but if i ever wanted to actually rank in FFA it would be messed up from the warm ups and just for fun play. It would also mess up other ppl’s ranks by kinda artificially inflating them just like if i idled in the game but not as bad of course.
The TrueSkill matchmaking is fine cause if i want to warm up i still want ppl around my skill level, what i’m saying is take off the playlist rank so if i lose a game it doesn’t matter. I don’t want to go into Slayer or whatever playlist for a warm up game and get a loss for my team and mess up their ranks just because i wanted a warm up game, that’s not fair to them.
