I want to begin by saying that at its core this game is amazing! I haven’t wanted to play anything else since it came out. However, my biggest (and only real) complaint with the game so far is the lack of ranked playlists. I hoped that this barebones approach was only for the beta and the rest of the core ranked playlists we know and love (Slayer, Snipers, FFA, 2v2, SWAT, etc) would be added come the actual launch, however having already seen hints of SWAT and FFA being part of limited time events like Fiesta is, has me beyond concerned. Especially considering that means they’ll most likely be social which for me personally is the same thing as them not being there at all since I’ve never enjoyed social. The variety of ranked lists is something that has always set Halo apart from other games from me. Grinding the ranks in Slayer, FFA, etc is something I never get bored of. Why are they not there? What happened to play how you want, with who you want, etc? Unless you want to play ranked Slayer? Ranked FFA? Heck even social Slayer because the same barebones approach is in social too. This is the 1 issue keeping this from being a 10/10 game for me personally. Please just give us the core ranked playlists we’ve always had. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and again, I don’t want it to sound like I dislike the game, I LOVE this game, I just want to love it as much as possible and that can’t happen when I’m only able to play 1 playlist.
