As some of you may know, Invasion is one of the most innovative and newest gamtypes in the Halo Universe. It is a very cool gametype to play because it adds a whole new experience to playing defense vs offense. What is also cool about it is that it make sense in terms of teams. Spartans vs Elites is a more realistic feel to the Fall of Reach so it wouldnt make sense having Spartans vs Spartans or Elites vs Elites.
Invasion has a few good gametypes for its own playlist. Invasion, Invasion Slayer, and Skirmish (S v E, E v E, or S v S,).
What only thing Invasion needs and lacks in that case, are maps.
The whole Invasion playlist has a few maps. Some for Invasion, some for Inv. Slayer, and some for Skirmish.
For Invasion:
-Boneyard
-Spire
-Breakpoint (rarely shows up due to it being a DLC map)
The number of maps for each gametype is low. It would be best to add more maps for each gametype. If 343i decides to include more maps for the Invasion playlist, it will make a very positive impact on the playlist especially for the Invasion gametype due to it having 3 maps (2 because the third barely appears). Adding large and more fair maps for Invasion Slayer can make it a more enjoyable gametype. Adding in more DLC into the playlist (like adding Condemned for Skirmish and Highlands for Inv. Slayer) would be a great idea as well.
For many Invasion fans out there, I know you understand what i mean. The Invasion playlist NEEDS more maps to make it more enjoyable.
To me, I go to the Invasion playlist and everyone chooses Invasion on Spire for about 4 games in a row. Honestly, imo, it gets very boring after a while playing the same gametype on the same maps over and over again.
There is something that needs to be changed about this playlist and hopefully 343i will make that change with the help of the community.

I agree, to get rid of the “bored” feeling i download maps. But the bad thing is that you can only play them in customs and the most players preffer to play things like ghostbusters, get out of my house and other infection style gametypes.
Also, i Created myself a invasion map and found the tag “matchmaking” lol

this is what we need. Fair community Invasion map. I know alot of ppl out in Reach have the talent to create awesome maps. at least 343 forums have a more friendlier community than Bungies forums. Its full of trolls and complainers.
