Having a little troubles assassinating in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo 4 most of the time. I see a a player, not noticing me, and I come from behind and tap B on xbox one controller. I just hit with my gun, and that player dies, but is not assassinated. I need to know if there is anything I am doing wrong, and need improvement. Thanks!
You’re supposed to hold the melee button, not just tap it.

No, RB does something, but what it does depends on your control scheme. You can look it up in the Options section of the MCC.
