Sooooo im playing level 5 on legendary solo for the 5th time now. Im staring to get real pissed. every time i blow up the 2nd cannon i cant precede, wraiths and ghosts just keep spawning. 3 times the ship has never showed and twice (counting the attempt im doing right now) the ship shows up but just sits there and i cant get to it or affect it in anyway at all. Now im just trying to get my lone wolf legend Achievement and this is insanely frustrating. i have tried peoples tips about letting the mammoth stop but no change. I must admit after all the pain in the butt it was getting my specialization codes, getting up early to play the crimson dlc before my long workday with my map pass only to be denied, the paying 60 bucks for halo to have you drop the price to 40 a month later (lotta thanks for supporting you in the begging we get) and still because the game is halo and it is good i’ve been cool but if now i cant even complete campaign?! some one, admin or other, needs to please tell me some thing else to fix this problem or im done cause if i cant even beat campaign then i might as well take the game back and those 2000 MP i spent on the map pass was probably better spent towards skyrim dlc.
Sorry to rant but im am very upset.
Start the mission from rally point bravo. You finish the mission from there and you still get credit for completing the mission solo. I got my lone wolf legend achievement by doing the last two of my missions from the last rally point. It’s cheap, but it’s quick.
Pro Tip: Just jetpack up into the ship.

OOOOK so after a long time of trying to jet pack up to the ship and being short by like a foot. i took the super long task of getting a ghost up on the rock i was using (It took 4ever!) i jet packed off that and made it to the ship which advanced the level. on a weird note the mammoth started moving and ran over the wraith and it didn’t explode it just got caught under it and just sat there. That whole thing, which was on my 6th, try took about 2 or 3 hours screwing around to get the ghost up there, so i don’t recommend it and hopefully no one else will have to if they fix it…

Wut? You shouldn’t have needed to get a ghost up there. Just jetpacking from the one rock should have been enough. I’ve done it several times with no problems.
Yeah mission 5 did that to me as well - stupid bug where you get the message to board the ship, look up and… no ship to board - great can we move on then… no.
Epic fail 343… epic fail - campaign should run without a hitch - obviously not tested properly.
