I recently got back on and noticed how close I was. My highest is snipers which is a 45. Team Slayer is a 42 along with doubles. I am starting to get back into the groove of playing. I had been playing 4 so the transition is a little shaky but I would love to just get a 50 once and for all. Something I always worked for but never got. Please if anyone could help me just add me. -Simple Stark
I will be on in the evenings after 7:30pm Central time and in the mornings before noon. I am not expecting to get it but I want to atleast say that I tried one final time.
I’m a 49 in Team Slayer right now and i’ve been soloing it the entire time.
It’s seriously almost impossible leveling up with the amount of cheaters that have flooded the game at this level. The game I JUST played both teams had cheaters and both of them were flying around the map trying to autoaim-headshot everyone as fast as possible.
It’s honestly really disconcerting that i’m seeing cheaters from months ago still not banned. Does 343 really not give a damn about the ongoing Halo 3 community?
In other words, I wouldn’t even bother trying man. You’re just going to get frustrated when you win a few games in a row then lose just as many by matching up with the same cheater again and again.

Yep, I capture all my gameplay and have two files of two separate occurrences where cheaters were involved … and for 6 years I never saw cheaters like this in halo 3 until this year. So I confirm what you say is true.
One match a dude was flying around and another had infinite rocket ammo.
While I’ve gotten 50’s before I don’t care to try now with all the crap going on. I mostly stick to social slayer now because it’s really all that is safe from the mess that is left over.
I’m just waiting for MC Collection to fully enjoy Halo 3 Team Slayer again.

These people are using a J-Tag. It basically jailbreaks your 360. It’s complete and utter BS.

Short answer, no. Long answer, Bungie made this game and not 343, so we should thank our lucky stars that the servers are even operational. They could literally care less about this game at this point and everyday that this game is still playable should be treated as a minor miracle.

No it’s not. My account had been a Brig 2 for years until I got my 50 last month. I also used to derank on it so there was a ton of lost games and I still made 50, even with all the aimbots, host booters, J-Tags and tryhards that infest ranked these days. I did it 100% legit, so it IS possible. You just have to be really, really good, and you need to have a committed partner who is also very good. It is frustrating as hell to play a J-Tag or host booter, but the thing to remember is that even now the legit players far outnumber the cheaters. If you can manage to win 85-90% of the games you play you will get 50, even in 2014, the year of the cheater.
My account has so much EXP that you really don’t want it as your partner because it will take us forever to rank up and we will be playing 50 high the entire time. However, I do have a secondary booster account, so if you have one of those 2 day gold passes that comes with games hit me up. If you are halfway good we should be able to get you a 50 or at the very least high 40s.
