I have a laptop running windows 8.1 and I cant redownlode Spartan assault to it can downlode the lite vertion but I pade for the full version and cant get it back on my pc please help im getting errcode 0x80080207 just on that game and Microsoft wont do anything but play pass the puck with me they keep sending me to xbox and xbox keeps telling me its a Microsoft problem

Here are various suggestions on how to deal with a 0x80080207 error.

I’ve received similar errors before, perhaps this very one, when downloading a large app. I had to try over and over again. Eventually I was successful.

i found a fix to the problem if you follow the steps it will work

go to this address: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution (if you install win 8 in another drive, replace it with C:\ in this address)

make copy (for backup) of ‘Download’ folder. then delete all data in this folder(C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download)

delete what is in the folder by using shift+delete
then try again. I KNOW it works!!!

Thank you this worked perfectly. I have been trying to get this installed on my surface 2 rt for 2 days. Paid for the app, but the install would not begin. No error message, just would not start. Thanks for the help BrazenEagle128.
