I play Halo Reach with my kids. My daugter has done a couple of stupid things like betraying someone a few times, I have banned HER from the XBOX for that.
My son’s and my Halo accounts have been banned from earning credits and I just dont know why? I know that there is an automatic program to detect cheats, and I respect that. I dont want to play with cheats.
However, I honestly am stumped why we are banned from earning credits. How can I figure this out. Do we have any recourse?
If you don’t get any kills for two or more games, the banhammer (automatic program) will ban you. If it’s your first credit ban , it will last 24-48 hours. Then the next ones (if you’ll get them again) will last 1 week and 2 weeks.
I know it has been 4 days and I do not recall a previous ban. I suppose we will wait it out for the week and see what happens? If it doesnt work, is there a customer service you can call?

I don’t think that’s entirely true, I played with my 3 step children (non of them good at all at Halo) and we played 5 games of SWAT, 0 kills everytime, and they were my guest, so it probably looked like I was trying some type of boosting or something, but no ban was received.

Why do you think it was only 5 games?
But you specifically said If you don’t get any kills for two or more games.
Leading people to believe it would be like 2-3 games. But I went 5 games, just because they wanted to keep playing until we won (sad little broken hearts), and received no ban. I think the ban-hammer is a bit more… Intricate than basing it on kills. Possibly basing it also on seeing if players are dying on spawn points and stuff like that.
Because they were definitely moving, just not killing anything, haha.
