I have put clips into my fileshare and I wish to download them and upload them to youtube, how would I do this? I tried from Bungie.net but that website doesn’t work anymore “Sadly”
You can’t. You’ll have to find someone with a capture card to help you.
You pretty much need to use a capture card. Well, I guess now that the recent screenshots thing is working you can take a picture, advance your game film 1 frame, then take another one. Repeat this until you’ve taken 25 pictures, download all your screenshots, then do another 25 and download again. Repeat times lots. Eventually, recombine all these pictures into a video, and upload!
I think you can do it with a flash drive in the xbox

Won’t work.
A Theater file is actually a list of everything that happened in a match. When you watch it in Theater, the game isn’t playing a video; it’s actually taking everything that happened in the match, and making it happen again. You need a copy of the game in order to use the file.

Yeah, so unless you have some fancy software from Bungie that lets you open and play those list files, you’re going to find out the hard way that trying it that way is a BAD way to do things.
Not many people seem to understand how Theater mode works, shame, it should be obvious that it’s not a video when you use theater mode.

Nope, not obvious. In most situations, things that have a play, pause, and rewind button are videos. Theater mode has all those things, so it’s reasonable to people to think they’re watching a video of what happened.

But still, You can detach your camera from your avatar and fly around the map as it plays, can you do that in videos? I think not.

It’s still not obvious. People just think “That’s how videos in Halo work.”
Simple. Just get a video camera and put it directly I. Front of the screen and hit record and then play your clip and upload it to YouTube via cam corder
