Vehicles that are sometimes accidently placed outside of the hard coded timed boundaries on maps when forging close to them are immediately destroyed and become stuck in a spawn loop and are unable to be deleted because of it. The result is a map with some sort of item that is constantly spawning every few minutes and self destructing or despawning with no time to delete the item. A Good fix for this could be bringing back the spawn marker from Halo 3 and making the spawn marker grabbable and selectable via select all. Or, auto delete items in that barrier so they can’t get stuck. Hope to see this fix in the next update.
Pretty sure you can place another vehicle on the map, then in the options there’s like a “Select All of Same Type” option or something like that. I can’t remember the exact name at the moment, but that should allow you to to toggle the settings even if you can’t select the actual item. I’ve done this when I’ve accidentally placed things in an area where I can no longer grab them. I’m unfortunately not sure how it’ll work with an item that’s currently waiting to respawn, but you might be able to get it to work. It’s not great, and it means you have to change settings for all the vehicles of the same type, but it’s worth a shot.
It doesn’t. That’s usually my first go to fix for an issue similar too this. Though i will note that as of right now it seemed to have deleted itself without my intervention. So I guess the situation fixed itself. lol
Nice! Yeah hopefully they implement some better way of handling any of these types of situations in the future.
ARGH 343 PLEASE FIX THIS
Please don’t revive old topics, thanks, especially ones that are over 2 years old
