So, as we know each species of the Covenant as their official name and a nickname given by Humans (Ex. Elites - Sangheili, Grunts - Unggoy). Now what the Hunters be called? You may be thinking, “Oh it’s Lekgolo,” But I mean Lekgolo that have formed to shape the giant Humanoid a Hunter we’ve all grown to love. Is there separate terminology for that? Or is it just called a Hive of Lekgolo Worms?
Singular worms are Lekgolo. “Hunter” forms (the armored gesalts) are “Mgalekgolo”. Techincally “Mgalekgolo” simply means a gesalt of Lekgolo, not neccearily a Hunter, as the form itself can change (ex; Nightfall’s worm swarm)

Nightfall’s Lekgolo colony was the Thanolekgolo, not the Mgalekgolo.
