spartans have no single seater vehicles that can be relied upon for combat (mongoose doesn’t count), covenant have the ghost and the chopper, this doesnt seem fair
covenant could have a “warthog” vehicle but it isnt in MM for some reason
If 343 can think of a vehicle like you’re describing which adds to the sandbox in a unique way, I din’t see why not. But they shouldn’t add it just for the sake of having human counterparts, if that were the case, we’d need human fighter jets, covenant helicopters, covenant shotguns and human swords.

i thought of an idea a while ago
it was a sphere that you sat in, had a shield protecting you while inside with 2 miniguns on the side for attacking
moved in all direction, had a turbo and was weak against explosions (like a ghost)
i did draw it but it ended up looking like a spartans face

Covenant warthog vehicle: prowler.
As for a single seater combat vehicle, while it could be interesting, the UNSC vehicles are loosely based on military vehicles, so… what does the military have that is single seater combat vehicle?
The warthog is basically a jeep, the falcon is a helicopter/vtol, the mongoose is an ATV, and the scorpion is a tank.
I cant think of any military single seater combat vehicle off the top of my head.
I’ll just post this here… (check the part about Japan)
The UNSC equivalent should have:
-maneuverability advantage
-stealth advantage (I should be able to get in it and drive around enemies without being detected)
-decent traction (should be able to go over some surfaces, but not better than the Ghost)
-decent speed (should be fast like the Mongoose, but not surpassing the Ghost)
-decent stability (should not flip easily, but not as good as the Ghost)
I’d really like a stealth based vehicle because as soon as you get in a vehicle in CE and H3 (I’m not sure about Reach), even if you’re cloaked, you get fired upon. H2 was the only Halo game afaik that let you bypass enemies in a vehicle if you were cloaked. I really liked that feel.
TLDR: The UNSC equivalent of a Ghost should be a vehicle more suited for infiltration and behind the scenes wreckage.
I don’t want an one seater vehicle that has op guns. The Chopper already has that role. Nor do I want an easily flipped vehicle that has too much speed. Both Covie vehicles lacked maneuverability so the UNSC variant should have that. Both Covie vehicles were also easily spotted. The Mongoose is not a suitable equivalent because of how easy it is to get flipped and how annoying it is to back up with it. Maneuverable? Hardly.
The UNSC equivalent should be the most balanced of the one seaters, with at least 2 advantages (mentioned above).
Eh, I like how battles are a mix of unique weapons and vehicles. Ghosts are iconic vehicles and I don’t think they need to add more of the same when they could be adding new stuff.

Thing is we have relatively similar things to all of those. Not identical, but the humans have a Human counterpart for almost every covie weapon and vehicle. The ghost’s “almost” counterpart being the mongoose. Basically, they should just stick a gun on the mongoose and I’d be happy.
Something like the hover bike from saints row 3? Except it only hovers above the ground and doesnt fly. Make it fast (faster than ghost) and have the turrets have to start spinning before firing so it isnt instant.
