For real, there are countless times where I am screaming at the screen “That was a head shot, i know it was a damn head shot, i am not delusional!” People with no shields should not be this hard to take down. Head shot after head shot not registering when the enemy has literally no shields left, and dude, i know i am lacing these headshots.
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this??
Some games are really, really weird. Shooting 3 shots at a “glowing” spartan that has no shield and he doesn’t die: something’s wrong.
You probably already thought of this, but how is your connection? What is your speed? Is this 4v4 or big team or warzone?

Know the feeling, had similar problems, the melee system too when someone comes around corner with no shields and I get head-shot on them, melee’d them twice but oddly I end up dying instead. I suspect mods are involved in H5 but the game breaks too often, it makes it hard to difficult to tell if game is glitching out or if someone is cheating.
Maybe I’m wrong, but sometimes I feel like the first shot of the magnum doesn’t register at all. It just disappears! I feel your pain OP…
Tbh I’ve never had this problem in halo 5
I notice this all the time unfortunately.
I think it’s lag on your end. I never had much of a problem with hit registration but since changing internet providers, I’ve noticed it alot more.
Also could just be the server you’re on.
I’ve had this happen one or two times. Do you have any videos of these occurrences? There are times when I feel this happens to me so I record it and what seemed like a headshot was a graze to the shoulder, chest or i just pre-fired (this happens most of the time).
All the time buddy , it doesn’t even have to be a headshot blank shots whenever the game feels like it !!! Extremely frustrating I felt it got worse with the last hot fix too ( the one to fix br multiple shot and plasma grenade glitch ) I get the feeling 343 have no idea how to fix their broken games MCC has this problem too and that has never got fixed or will it !!!
