Who else liked the background vocals in the original Halo theme, and in “Under Cover of Night”?
I thought the use of Native American cries in a futuristic setting was very stylistic. We were on Halo, an ancient world, so it was fitting as well. The ghostly background vocals gave a sense of mystery and wonder. I was disappointed they didn’t return in the Halo 3 version of the theme.
I think those kind of vocals should return in the background of some of the themes.
