I just want some opinions on my current armor, what do you all think of it? Color, helmet/armor combination, visor, etc.

Note: not looking for attention, just opinions.

It appears you’re wearing Operator armor with a Wetwork hat, colored pepper and some kind of green, with a green visor.
Pros:
The pepper primary color is arguably overused, but in most cases it’s necessary to match the black parts of the undersuit.
The Wetwork hat and Operator armor both have about the same amount of forced white markings, nice job coordinating those.
Your visor matches your secondary color nicely.
Cons:
Your armor and helmet are mismatched, which is an issue for some people.
The Wetwork helmet is certainly not ugly, but it’s not the prettiest helmet either. The “ears” on the top are the biggest reason for this.

Overall, I’d give it a solid 7/10

Here’s what I think to myself whenever I’m conflicted: Is this something that a canon Spartan would actually wear?

I your case, I don’t think it is. Armour’s alright, colours aren’t IMO.

Well armor is good but colour isnt that good

ok sure why not, I’m like the Halo 5 fashion police. You’re wearing a Locus helmet with Recruit charred, colored pepper and some kind of orange, I’ll try another pros and cons list.
Pros:
The Locus helmet looks really cool.
Recruit charred armor looks really cool too because fire!
Matching it with Recruit charred is an excellent choice because it has skulls on it, which is what the Locus hat resembles. They are also unavoidably white, just like the Locus helmet’s faceplate.
Orange is the best choice for the flames, of course.
Cons: The biggest issue here is the white faceplate on the Locus helmet. You’ve somewhat circumvented this with the white skulls on the Recruit charred armor, but the choice of a pepper primary color really makes it stick out like a sore thumb. Personally, I would recommend a lighter but still neutral primary color in order to match the white on the helmet. The charred skin already includes a bit of darker color behind the flames, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to see the orange color if you do something like salt/carrot.

But overall you look really good and Locus helmet+Recruit charred armor is something I wear myself, sometimes. 9/10

To the op I think your armor is looking fairly on point I’d give it 8/10.

To the guy doing the “reviews” I’m currently trying out this new look and would like to know what others think. The only thing I’m not really sure I like is the helmet because you can’t see my sweet sweet visor matching my red tertiary color.

At this point my biggest concern is that some mod is going to lock the thread saying “there’s already a thread for getting your armor rated” but I’m too tired to care right now so I’ll give you my honest opinion.

It looks like you’re wearing a Venator (Retairus?) helmet with Viper Venom armor, colored milk chocolate (I think) and pepper, with some kind of red visor.
The idea of a tertiary color is hard to pull off because you need to rely on those forced random colors, such as the red stripes on Viper Venom armor. In your case, the visor is completely necessary in order to for this to work, and I understand your concern about it being difficult to see on the Venator hat. Some helmets just make it hard to identify the visor, but with the right stance it should be easier to see. I would recommend using At the Ready, Patrol, or Look Skyward stances so that people have a better view of your visor.
Pros:
Brown and black are dull colors to contrast nicely with the red “tertiary” color you have, they really make it pop.
The thin visors on the Venator helmet are about the same width as the stripes on Viper Venom armor, which is aesthetically pleasing.
Venator helmet looks cool in general.
**Cons:**As you mentioned, it may be difficult to see your visor, but that’s fixable. I can see it nicely here on the Waypoint, at least.
Using pepper as a secondary color on Viper Venom armor causes the 8s on the shoulder and some other details, which are always black, to be against a black background, which is a fashion misdemeanor. You can still see them, but it’s not ideal.
Some people take issue with mismatched armor/helmets.

Overall, you’re looking stylish. Going for a tertiary color is a bold move in Halo 5 and I think you deserve a 9/10 with the correct stance.

By the way, interesting thing I like to do with Viper Venom armor: If you go pepper/sapphire with a Greystone visor, you will perfectly match the Ruptive weapon skins. There’s even little yellowish markings on the back, and a letter R for Ruptive on the front of the armor!

its ok i guess

Looks great! Never could complain about wetwork, but colors need some work. Try dark red instead of green and it’ll be better. Overall 9.5/10

Oh, and the guy reviewing armor, mine next please?

I like the green. Close to the seahawks green, so it’s a-ok in my book.

Your armour looks good. Nice green colour with the black/white.

My name is Phil also. Mind + blown.

If you like it, wear it.

Everyone has their own taste/style.

Well you certainly know how to rate armor.

Looks Good.

Nice. Like the colour combinations and white marks.

To the “halo fashion rater” can you rate my armour please?

If you wouldnt mind, it would be nice to know what someone else thinks of mine. I do have trouble deciding between alot of my armor sets though

You’re wearing full black Nightfall, you can’t complain about anything there but the visor colour. Try a prussian blue sort of colour or a black. That’ll do the job.

If you’re looking for some try Midnight or I think it’s called Pendragon.

Thanks! I’ll try to get pendragon, it looks pretty good.
