Ok, guys. I’ve been having NAT issues since I got reach. I can connect to other players on reach and CEA, I can talk, I can hear them. I can do everything I should be able to. Yet I get a little black popup at the bottom right when I’m searching for CEA matchmaking games. It says something along the lines of, “Your NAT isn’t open, You may not be able to connect to other players or talk to other players.” Something like that. Yet I can. Does anyone know how I can resolve this? It’s probably why I sometimes get kicked from a party after I receive my Cr from the last game when you’re on the map selection screen. How ever, That only happens 1/20 or so times.
I’m on a home wifi network, 2mb/sec connection, brand new router, and i play on a slim model xbox because my elite decided to die right before CEA.
I checked Microsoft but it said that any hardware compatible with windows vista/7 should not have NAT problems. Any help would be really really really appreciated. :]
Ignore it.

It’s fine right? Nothing to worry about?

Yep!
it’s the router settings, open means that you can play with anyone, moderate means you can play with people who have moderate and open, and closed means you can only play with people who have open, it shouldn’t be a problem though, you could probably Google how to set your router to the open setting
If you really want to open your NAT, there’s a couple ways to do it. If your router is new, then the easy way is making sure UPnP is on. That should solve the problem. If not, then port forwarding will definitely work.
Here’s the thing- a closed NAT may not be terribly detrimental to Reach MM, but it will definitely pose a problem for other games.
You prob have moderate nat, u can hear and play games fine but may take longer than open nat types, strict nat is when you can barely join or hear anyone. So you’re fine with moderate.
