I’ve found that waypoint is a wildly polarizing place. Every thread consists of some combination of about five types of posts: (1) off topic, (2) trolls, (3) on topic but sarcastic/humorous, (4) on topic and highly logical/thought-out, or (5) ad hominem ignoramuses.
So I’m wondering, for those that fall into the 5th category, what is the nastiest cookie-cutter insult? I’m not looking for cleverness here, but what ranks as the worst? And why?
Is it calling someone a noob (or is that too old school)? Or maybe a farmer? Or maybe calling someone a “343 fanboy” is the nastiest thing someone can say? I’m curious what hits hardest?

But man… If you guys keep posting your suggestions without using quotes around them, people might think you’re actually directing this stuff at me!
On a serious note, I was hoping that this thread might evolve into a real discussion about the insults. A discussion which would tend to reflect on the absurdity of such insults and thereby serve to diminish them… But now I’m thinking that this thread may just get locked without yielding any positive outcomes.

I think the worst form of insult is one faction (Classic Halo fans or Nu-Halo fans) comparing the other faction to a disease or illness.

I don’t expect you to understand my level of thinking. Make a quick one liner to avoid embarrassment. Things like this makes halo again. look at how the forge community thinks… I mentioned this in another thread, but nonetheless needs to be mentioned. If you look at the scoop of ice cream it melts. That’s exactly how halo is right now. If you don’t understand that metaphor, here’s an example
