First off, hi! Im new to the forums and just wanna bring up a recent topic that erked me. I read that there wouldnt be any nameplate transfers from Bungie.net to waypoint so basically if you dont have one, forget about it after March of this year 
Anyone else feeling a little iffy about this? I wanted to proudly flash my Nameplates to show my little more dedication to Halo than the casual gamer and am a little down that they wont be making any moves with this idea and time soon or at all. Any other people feeling the same?

I was extremely disappointed to hear that 343i weren’t going to continue to support nameplates in Halo Reach when the transferral was complete. At least I’m still using my favourite one though (ODST :P).
I don’t really mind if they’re in Halo 4 or not, the whole lobby looks totally different, so I don’t know.
Anyway, if you’ve got any questions, feel free to ask! Enjoy posting on the forums.

And yes, I don’t mind nameplates. I think they are pretty cool. I’m glad I got stuck with Bungie’s nameplate on Reach because that’s the only one I had that I liked. Plus Bungie created the series so I thought it was special to me.
I think it would be awesome if they made new nameplates for Halo 4…

yeah i hope there is nameplates in halo 4 just hope they put it in
im new to the site aswell, im not sure how it works yet,
i would love it if they put name plates back in halo 4,
i got stuck with the ODST one in reach,
i cannot wait for the game to be released ive pre-order the collectors edition of amazon.

Good call TannishWheel- I had a feeling you were right on this one! 
I would enjoy the use of Nameplates, I’d rock the Reach or Halo Wars one because those are my some of my favorite games.
Welcome to Waypoint fellow Reclaimer! I’d love for the nameplates to make a return, in Reach I use the Spartan Helmet, just seems real special to me like if i’m proud to be a spartan. =)

I loved all the ones in Reach and would really like a few more for HALO 4
I really wanted nameplates to return, but I’m not really all that picky about it anymore. Why? Because we have so much customization, like Spartan pose/Id, emblems, and skins, I don’t feel the need for a nameplate. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t welcome its return back.
