Hello, I’ve been playing matchmaking and in a few games I’ve noticed this issue, when I look at the scoreboard, some people don’t have an emblem, or primary colour. It just shows their name and score. There is a file in my fileshare (Gamertag is stru5tl) the file is named Transparent Nameplate Mod, in the film you may have to press back to see the effect.

You do relize there is an option to not have an emblem right…?
Yes, but it also shows the nameplate as not even being there, just the persons gamertag with a transparent background.

Usually when you try bringing something like this to light it is customary that you provide a link make the journey as easy as possible for your readers.
Please remember to do so in the future.
I’ll watch this and post back if this is a ‘mod’ or not.
EDIT: I see what the OP means, when pressing back on the scoreboard, there is simply no colour on his name in the Leaderboard, it is completely see-through.
I’ll check the dudes file share, see if its there in his films if he has any, if so, I advise you file a complaint against him OP.
EDIT 2: I’ve checked a few games in his file share, it seems like he doesn’t have the ‘modded’ nameplate on these films and they are from late December, if this is a mod, its the first I have heard of it.
Either way, I’d consider it a one off glitch.

I didnt know the service record on this site had a fileshare option and I thought the Bungie.net one was down untill its placed over here, sorry.

Just so you don’t get confused, I saw the film in YOUR file share, I proceeded to send the guy with the transparent nameplate a friend request to get access to his File Share and I checked some of the films in HIS file share, he has a regular nameplate.
As far as I can see it was a one off or that he has a modded armour colour (which IS possible) which makes the nameplate transparent, its hard to see off the team games in his File Share as it forces you to be a certain colour.
