I did read the helpful hints for new members and it says
Named Hyperlink
Halo Waypoint
[ url=put url here ]Sample[ /url ]
So i did
[url=“http://halo.xbox.com/forums/announcements/f/6/t/6742.aspx”>http://halo.xbox.com/forums/announcements/f/6/t/6742.aspx
Okay so I finangled in your code real quick to see what the issue was, and you had some extra characters in there. To hyperlink this http://halo.xbox.com/forums/announcements/f/6/t/6742.aspx you’d type
[_url=THEURLHERE]http://halo.xbox.com/forums/announcements/f/6/t/6742.aspx[/_url] replacing THEURLHERE with http://halo.xbox.com/forums/announcements/f/6/t/6742.aspx and removing the extraneous spaces denoted by the _
Thus yeilding: http://halo.xbox.com/forums/announcements/f/6/t/6742.aspx
I think you had quotes and an href in there that messed up the simple tag as far as I saw.
NVM, problem solved since I last tried it.
I use chrome and the named link url code works fine for me.
Check out my video
I don’t know why you tried to combine “a href” with [ url] but it works fine for me both ways

I still with the problem
Sample
Weird,i’ll copy paste with spaces.
[ url=http://halo.xbox.com/forums/announcements/f/6/t/6742.aspx]I still with the problem[ /url]
[ url=http://halo.xbox.com/forums/announcements/f/6/t/6742.aspx]Sample[ /url]
If you notice, one of the links works and the another dosn’t,i think that’s the cause, anyways, thanks!(still weird).
