We know 3 map packs are coming out, we have Spartan Ops season 1 with the possibility of future seasons and we may be seeing preorder exclusives released for everyone, but is there anything else you’d like to see added in the future?
I’ll start us off.
I’d like to see Firefight return as DLC. There were a number of times when I was playing Campaign where I stopped and thought to myself “this would be a great Firefight map”.
An example is the outside area of the FUD from the first level.
This would fit into canon as virtual training for the SIVs, learning from the Chief’s experiences. They could also add locations from previous games, or even the books.
Map packs with well thought out, competitive new maps. Some arena style, both symmetrical and asymmetrical (Midship and Lockout for example) and some BTB maps with similar designs to Standoff and to a lesser extent, Tempest.
I do not want exact remakes because as we have seen before, they will often NOT work with the new game’s mechanics.
A zombie mode true to the original concept players in Halo 2 came up with, where you can actually barricade doors and stuff. Though it should have AI flood. Perhaps along with player flood.
Add the most popular maps from Halo CE-3. Also adds returning armor pieces like ODST, Secruity and other favorites. Plus the Falcon and the Chopper. As well as the orignal Infection, Invasion, any thing else I’m missing we want but can’t remebr at the moment.
I’d want a map pack that includes Gephyrophobia, District (Halo 2 PC map), and Sandtrap. It would also have an update that lets you change the flood’s weapons.
Definitely some UNSC air vehicles. Although very improbable I’d like a pelican map. Just two pelicans, one for red team on for blue. They’d be the focus of the entire map. The coding’s in there for pelicans to be flown with four people so I’d be happy with that.
New war game exclusive power and starter loadout weapons; Dlc weapon variety is something i haven’t seen with previous halo titles. For instance, i would like to see a heavy needler equivalent to the unsc saw.
