Because 343 failed to listen to fans and go their own separate way making it their version of Halo. There is just so much that didnt need changing but they did anyways to slap their name on it. Aiming being one of the major issues and thats a simple mechanic from the start.
Gameplay is a big step up from Halol 4.
Weapon balance.
Undoubtedly the best weapon balance seen in any Halo game. No weapon feels too powerful or too weak, with each having certain strengths and weaknesses.
This game’s balance. Each weapon is different and each serve a purpose. No longer is a BR guaranteed to win against an AR.
The outstanding balance and gameplay. So fun and addicting.
loving the game overall, imo its the best Halo so far.

The graphics, Warzone, REQ packs for boosts / weapons (not armor, that’s a negative), weapon balance, movement mechanics, and most of the MP maps. It’s fun to play, but I know there’s stuff there I don’t like, but as requested this is not the time for negativity!
For the single player, I’m enjoying the team gameplay… though I’m finding it hard to get through as I’m a collector at heart and I hate having to get all of the intel in every level. It kind of takes away from the pace they are trying to achieve. It isn’t as easy as just “not getting them” either, achievements are kind of an addiction. But once I start playing through Heroic co-op with my buddy, I’m thinking I will enjoy it a lot more.
I like that it is getting the worst reviews of any main series Halo game, and that hopefully that means 343i will actually go back to the series roots for the next game.

The vehicles handle a lot like Halo CE. I’ve got to praise the game for that.

Whew I actually like a lot about this game.
- Drop in drop out co-op campaign that is pretty fun overall.
- JIP in Warzone
- AI bots in Warzone
- 24 players in Warzone
- No team killing in Warzone
- Reqs in Warzone
- Boss battles in Warzone
- I simply love warzone
- BTB is added and it is ranked AND has JIP!!!
- The rank system seems to work very well overall.
- Swat has removed team killing
- I like that they added quit penalties to this game
- I also like how they kick players that are AFK.
- The dedicated servers are very solid!
- I like sprint.
- I like being able to clamber to upper levels.
I always have positive and negative feedback for each game I play. But there is a lot to like about Halo 5. The positives highly outweigh the negatives for me. I waited several days after launch to pick this up (because of TMCC) but I don’t regret my purchase at all. Been truly enjoying H5.
