“The final transition for Halo services takes place in four days. As part of this planned stage, Bungie will no longer be able to update game stats and player service records, host new user-generated content, or operate the Bungie Pro Service after March 31. The most noticeable impact will be on features seen exclusively on Bungie.net, such as rendered films, nameplates, and Halo: Reach API keys. They are not included in the transition, and we do not have plans to develop similar features for prior games.”
I’m still unclear. I understand from this quote we’ll all lose our nameplates (R.I.P. ODST nameplate), but does it also mean we’ll lose our Eternal blue flames? I’m assuming yes because we had to activate them at bungie.net.
Once the Blue Flame has been unlocked you cannot lose it, doesn’t matter if Halo stats are taking down off Bungie. Bungie is also giving Recon to anyone who has not got it yet in H3.

I thought Blue Flames & Recon are not accessible when you are not connected to Xbox LIVE, if that link between Bungie & Reach go, blue flames MAY or MAY NOT go.
As for Recon, Bungie isn’t givin it out, 343i is.

My assumption is that if Recon will be accessible, so will Eternal (that is, if you have unlocked it)
Ω
Blue Flame is there to stay and the nameplate you have when they shutdown is the one you will be with forever.
