One thing. Seriously, what does this new system offer that older Halos do not? There is no reason for it to be in the game, it does NOTHING but take away from the experience.
- I get to watch fools spend money on them.
- I get free DLC from the fools’ money.
I have lots of Mongooses.

Quite literally this.
Would I prefer a more achievement based system? Yes. Is it going to change? No. Do I get free maps and things now due to other people’s stupidity? Yes. That’s good enough for me; I don’t have to spend a dime.
Free DLC. Buying them is unnecessary and does not affect gameplay. I opened 3 gold packs using req points and got nothing good. Therefore, if people want to spend their money and pay for my free dlc, go ahead. At least 343 isn’t selling particular armors and visors only available through purchase. When that day comes, I will take my leave from the series.

Implying map packs couldnt have been made just for free considering were coming off Halo 4 here…
Name one good thing? Hmmm, I like the fun in buying one and seeing stuff that I get, like opening a booster of Magic cards or whatnot. But, considering that the system is supposed to make me feel that and said stuff is -Yoink- I dont want or need on purpose well… Doesnt really seem like a good thing after all.
It’s fun.
It’s fun.
It’s a new dynamic - particularly useful in Warzone.
I’d never purchase any REQ packs for any money, but it’s fun to save up the 10000 points for the Gold Pack. It’s fun to unlock the armour etc.
Analysis: New REQ cards can be added to the game, allowing for additions to the weapon/vehicle sandbox which were not available in previous games.
Conclusion: The REQ system gives more opportunity for the game to grow.

Halo 4 DLC was paid. Not sure what you’re getting at.
They’re fun.
I enjoy it the same way I enjoy opening a card pack in magic or hearthstone. Showing off my legendary armor I got from a pack is just fun
I don’t really play Warzone, but boy oh boy do I love the anticipation of spending my hard earned REQ points on some Gold or Silver REQ packs and then seeing what goodies I got (even though I won’t use many of them and sell most of them off).

That the game died off quickly. When dlc came out it fractured community even more. With those facts in mind, 343 couldve shot for good will with the people, thats what im getting at.
Progression based on skill and teamwork. Everything provides REQ points. It’s a new system, but it work. I’m very pleased. I have to admit; there’ nothing quite like slowly opening a gold pack. Also; if you’d like to dwell into the micro transactions of REQ packs. I like them. It only take a few games to enough points for what you want. Aside from that there’s nothing that you can buy that will break the gameplay. It’s well balanced. Another bonus of the REQ system? Perhaps the best? Since 343i Introduced the option to buy REQ packs, all DLC will be free to all players. If that’ not a positive outcome of creating the REQ system; I don’t know what it is.

The REQ packs do not offer this. The difference in REQ points between winning and losing is negligible. What I’ve learned is that I have more incentive to find ways to idle in Warzone and just collect the req points until I get stuff that helps me in warzone.
And it has taken a LOT more than a few games to earn enough points for what I want…because how I get what I want is random…so I could play another 100 games and not get what I want. The REQ system is garbage.
I think it’s stupid that all the customization options are completely random. Meaning you will potentially have to play over 600 hours for once customization piece. And often times in Warzone, the team with the luckiest players who get the best stuff in their packs, will have an advantage over the other team.
It really doesn’t need to be in the game. It’s not a super massive game breaking issue but it’s definitely an annoyance.
Also the new emblem system is laughably bad compared to the old one.
Just the free map packs I would say ?!
I dunno…hate the req system anyway^^

Hey, you wanted the same cat emblem with a white cat and pink/red bow and sometimes the cowboy hat like you always had since Halo 3? Well how stupid of you for wanting that! -343
At least the cat emblem is there by default for me but, yeah first thing I do in Halo 5 is try to get my emblem right and derp…
