There’s been a lot of changes in the recent Halo games. What’s one thing you would change and one thing you would keep?
Try to keep it simple. I’d get rid of spartan charge, and keep the social playlists.

Take away Spartan Abilities (Except Sprint) & Bring Back playabe Elites
I don’t wanna hear any “They’re Big” or any Canon stuff

Yeah but it isn’t getting much feedback anymore, so I started a new one. The last comment I saw (from the time of me typing this comment) was on 12/8/17.
Just get rid of spartan charge and I’ll be happy
Get rid of squad systems/revive mechanic, keep thruster evade. Bring back campaign matchmaking and theater

I’ll just edit your post for you…

This is such an open-ended question. Can I change the fact that Halo 5 doesn’t make my Xbox print money? ok but seriously I’d change the lack of split-screen. Even though Halo 6 was confirmed to have it, Halo 5 still badly needs it (my second choice would be changing the req system, in drastic ways, if not totally removing it). And I would keep Yabda the Merciless as an announcer.

Oh yeah, that too
I would like to change AND keep spartan charge. It’s a great mechanic, it just needs to have the damaged reduced to just your shield bar, not your shields and 2/3s of your health. That way it won’t 1 hit kill as much, and it will be harder to lead an engagement with it and win.
I would keep the spartan abilities. The game is better with things like ground pound and spartan charge. If I had to change one thing about them, I would add custom animations for clamber, ground pound, and spartan charge.
I want to say remove spartan abilities, but i guess that’s too much to ask. I guess if not that then i want the magnum to get a nerf.
Get rid of the REQ system but that won’t happen so change it so I can change more armor pieces. Keep The Answer. Never get rid of this beautiful piece of art.
I’m not going to pick the obvious things like “advanced movement” even though I want to.
My one change: bring back challenge-based unlocks like we used to have in Halo 4 and 3, and expand the system to include a weapon-skin unlock tree like certain other franchises have. Those are the best.
My one keep: I love ground pound. Don’t you dare get rid of my ground pound.
bring back reach customization, get rid of the req system, about the advance mobility, i dont mind it but there should be a classic play list.

replace wasp with hornet/falcon
get rid of Spartan charge and bring back bubble shields
I’d get rid of micro transactions, and I would like to keep various content from over the years.
I know that seems kind of ambiguous but what I mean by that is kinda like how Reach was a swan song to Halo from Bungie and featured tons of content, mechanics, and features from over the years of games they made and once cut ideas all in once place… It would be cool to have some sort of culmination of content and a celebration of halo. I think its evident that the community feels the same way in some capacity otherwise there wouldn’t be so many people remaking things in forge, begging for “anniversary editions,” or so many fan projects on PC that aim to include as much stuff we have grown to love over the years and want to see newly implemented. (i.e. various custom edition mods, SPV3, Installation 01, Halo: Contingency).
To me, it seems like the MCC was even 343i’s attempt at something like this, an attempt to have a full suite of content and experience. So I feel like the desire to have a de facto, extensive, expansive, grandiose Halo game that isn’t solely focused on superficial qualifiers like cinematic is there in the community. At the same time I also know even if something like this was realized we would still want more, which is both a good and a bad things. I know I always like and want more Halo, but that doesn’t mean I will lambaste short comings or praise just anything that says “Halo” on it.
