What do you guys think is going to be her future in the halo franchise. I like Spartan Ray. It seems she’s a Spartan that will be trusted. She seems trustable and is a good combatant. Do you think she’ll join up Majestic? Do you think she’ll appear in halo 5? I want to see more of her. Her background is brought into use in escalation so that’s nice.
What do you guys want to see from her and where do you think she’ll be in media?

I really like Spartan Ray, I find her to be an interesting and likeable character. She’s obviously good at what she does considering Lasky seems to have taken a preference to her, and her skill in combat is shown when she takes on an Elite Zealot in hand-to-hand combat.
I’m looking forward to her appearance in Escalation #11 and hope to see her in-game at some point. The Infilitrator armour actually suits her too, despite usually being an ugly piece of kit on male Spartans.
My favourite character introduced in Escalation, next to 'Gajat. Really hope she makes it, it’d be a poor waste of potential for her character if she ends up being killed in issue 12 - and that is, of course, a legitimate fear to have based on what happened in Issue 8…
Really hoping for a sort of all-star reunion towards the Reclaimer Saga’s conclusion. John, Blue Team, SoF crew and Red Team, Halsey and Anders, Thel and Rtas, Cutter and Hood, Lasky and Orenski/Sully, and so on. Given the danger we’re going to be up against, I think a lot of these characters are going to end up biting the dust at some point or other.
Naiya and Petra are, by far, my favorite characters in Escalation. Also, more leading ladies so that’s just fantastic in itself.
I’m really enjoying Naiya’s relationship with Tom in this series, working together both in the stresses of combat and through peaceful streets on the colonies. Kinda seems like they have a bit of a fling going on, so I wouldn’t mind seeing that coming more to fruition. With what little we’ve seen her in, I believe they’ve developed a fantastic base that would easily translate to an exciting story with her leading it.
She’ll probably end up dying once Escalation wraps up. With this bioweapon business coming up after The Next 72 Hours, I don’t expect either Thorne or Ray to make it out. Someone is going to get infected with whatever it is and probably end up like Sam, injured and unable to escape. Pessimistic, but that is usually how these things go.

Ray is easily my favorite character that has came out of Escalation. If she dies in 11 or 12 for the sake of shock value or other ways that make her character redundant, and depending on the quality of the rest of “The Next 72 Hours”, I’m going to probably take a break from Halo until the story proves itself worthy.
But with Halo’s current Lead Writer, I’m not expecting much improvement until positions change.
Really like the character. Her attitude, appearance, skill. Expecting to see more of her.

Assault rifle, magnum, Frag, thruster pack, resistor, recharge. I think.
I feel like she should have armour abilities and stuff assigned to her…
I like Ray and given her armor’s paint job it’d make sense for her to join up with Majestic at some stage.
But that means there’d be five Spartans in Majestic again.
And that’ll make my whole fantasy of Blue team mentoring Majestic kinda difficult considering there’ll be five SIV’s and only four SII’s. Who’s supposed to mentor the fifth SIV?
One of the SIVs will have to either go or Naomi will join Blue team.
