Nades

from playing halo 5 these few weeks one things I’ve noticed is that nades are way too good. every gun fight i go into players just spam their nades and i die because how much damage they do and how large their radius is. personally i thing nades should be used as a support weapon to help flush out enemies or clean up kills you otherwise could not finish off not have players rely on them to get all their kills it’s ridiculous imo he takes away the whole point of gun skill if you can just throw 4 nades at an enemy and get rewarded.

i dont feel they are nearly as strong as reach’s were. but they are pretty annoying

I agree with the reach thing. That is probably my favorite halo but the grenades were very over powered in there.

Nade spam has been a thing since CE. its part halo. You have the same “overpowered” nades too. Use them to your advantage.

I agree on the nades argument and feel they are strong and that there are just too many on the arena maps. Because Halo 5 is more fast paced than previous halos it means that people have the ability to pick up more nades very easily. I think you need to spawn with 1 nade which means you need to be more strategic with it’s usage, and either the spawn time on others needs to be increased, the number on the map decreased or the carrying capacity decreased.

There are a few areas in most the maps that bottle neck and make grenades extremely effective and they feel too effective.

i know nade spam was always in halo but i feel the halo 3 nades were the most balanced. like i can tolerate nade spam but the damage either needs to be reduced or the blast radius needs to be reduced in halo 5 because i believe theyre slightly too strong.
